Purchase from a trusted seller 

When purchasing the seeds, you should make sure that the seller you are purchasing from has a good reputation. You can check out the online ratings the agriculture seeds sellers have received. 

Check the certifications

When purchasing seeds for your farm, you should also check what kind of certifications does the seeds have. You should thoroughly check the package of the seeds to get the details of the certifications. If you are purchasing exotic seeds from agriculture seeds exporters, then the package must contain certifications. 

Look out for obvious physical signs 

You should also look out for obvious physical signs in the seeds. If the seeds seem damaged, or you observe any presence of fungus in the seeds then you should avoid purchasing those seeds. The seeds you are purchasing should be in perfect physical condition. 

Test seed samples

You can simply just put a few seeds in a bowl of water and keep it for at least a day. Next, you can see what happened with the seeds and whether they have germinated or not.
